Firefly is an Arts and Project Management
Company owned by Donna MacRae and based near inverness in the Highlands
of Scotland. We specialise in Event and Festival Management, Project
Management, Artiste Agency & Management, Writing and Running Music
Business Courses - (Course Development and Training) and Custom
Designed Database Building.
Blas Festival - Moladh na
Gàidhealtachd
Firefly's director, Donna MacRae is also
the Administrative Director of The Blas Festival.This Highland wide
festival is rooted in Gaelic language
and traditional music. It is based in the community and involves
the participation of youth, local, national and international
performers. Our aim each year is to produce a series of
unmissable high quality events. The 2008 Festival ran from
September 5th to 13th with 45 music events and 41 education events.
The 2009 festival, part of the 'Homecoming Scotland' Year will run from
September 4th to 12th.
We hope to have the core events for 2009 online and on sale on
November 30th 2008
